TOFO EXPERIENCE

A 10 night / 11 day trip focusing on the TOFO surf town area.

After landing at Maputo International Airport, where we will spend the first night, we will get to know the guides who will accompany you throughout the trip.

The next morning we hit the road to the surfing town of Tofo which is about 7 hours away and experience the African landscape. We are expected to arrive around noon in Tofo and stay in the area for 8 nights, when on the 10th day we will head back towards the capital city after a morning session. The next morning we’ll depart home. During the trip we will stay in Tofo and surf the spots in the area depending on the swell conditions and the level of surfers in the group. The accommodation in the villas is in shared/double rooms and on a bed & breakfast basis. Every lunch / dinner we will dine out at a local restaurant to experience the flavors and colors.

Throughout the trip you will be guided by our team, who will take care of all logistical needs, including videography.

10 nights on a b&b basis (2 nights in the capital city of Maputo, and 8 in Tofo)
Throughout the trip, water, tea, coffee, fruits and snacks will be provided, including 2 beers per participant per day

SURFARI EXPERIENCE Tofo to Ponta

A 14 night / 15 day trip between the surf towns of Punta de Oro and Tofo, in search of the best waves!

After landing at Maputo International Airport, we will embark on a 15-day trip along the coast in search of the ideal surf conditions between several surf towns. The itinerary and the number of nights at each destination will be determined according to the forecast about a week before the trip.

During the trip we will stay in two main areas - Punta de Oro ,and Tofino.

In each of the surf towns we will stay in a luxurious villa from the variety of villas we work with, and we will surf the spots in the area depending on the swell conditions. The accommodation in the villas is in shared/double rooms and on a bed & breakfast basis. Every lunch / dinner we will dine out at a local restaurant to experience the flavors and colors.

Throughout the trip you will be guided by our team, who will take care of all logistical needs, including filming the sessions.

The package includes -

14 nights on a b&b basis (1 night in the capital city of Maputo, a night in Bilen and 12 nights between Ponta and Tofo
Throughout the trip, water, tea, coffee, fruits and snacks will be provided, including 2 beers per participant per day

Jono Venter 

Jono has been surfing for over 30 years, and coaching surfing for at least half that time. Having surfed semi-professionally early in his surfing career he considers himself a big wave and all-round soul surfer hailing from South Africa.

Having grown up in Kwa-Zulu Natal in South Africa, Jono has spent much of his life traversing between South Africa and Mozambique where he works as a Surf Coach and Guide. Jono prides himself on his ability to provide a unique and authentic African experience. Bring on the endless summer, yewww!

Josh de la Rey 

Josh, a South African with a Mozambican heart. Having grown up surfing, diving and spear fishing in Ponta do Ouro - Josh is no stranger to this rustic way of life. With a lifelong passion for surfing, Josh is the perfect person to show you around this epic country.

Josh is a very patient and charismatic character who finds happiness in sharing the stoke with others. With experience working abroad as an excursion's coordinator, divemaster and yacht master - Josh will ensure that you’re taken care of.

If not out in the back line with you enjoying the waves, Josh will be on shore capturing photos of you riding the best waves of your life. Yeeew!

During the trip we will stay in villas in the various surfing towns.

All the villas offer private and shared rooms with toilet and shower, pool, kitchen and common areas to hang out and chill between sessions.

Possibly the villas will change in the days before the trip depending on the vacancy, itinerary, and the Swell, but we commit to the same or higher standard.
